2 time Sportsman winner Ron Croce out of the Amsterdam NY area appeared on the Valley radar back in 1992 when he started competing in the Sportsman division in a Orange & Yellow Tobias creation.  In a couple of years, Ron moved up to the Modified division, albeit with the underpowered Valley spec head motor.  Ron didn’t find much success and just as fast as he appeared, he left the racing scene at LV.
